Imagine!

code

Sometimes it is the people who no one imagines anything of, who do the things that no one can imagine.

This quote is taken from the movie “The Imitation Game“about Alan Turing, who invented a machine that deciphered the Enigma-coded messages exchanged amongst Hitler’s army during WWII. There’s a whole lot more to the story and it is an excellent movie I would highly recommend to anyone… But what strikes me the most is this underlying current in the film presented through this simple sentence.

I hope you will watch the film and be inspired as I was to appreciate your own creative genius. How many times have you listened to others tell you that you’re not good enough, that you’ll never be something special, that you can’t make a difference in the world? I remember hearing as an art student over and over that everything in the art world had already been done. I heard it so much that I believed it. I believed that I wouldn’t be able to make a difference. I thought to myself, what is the point, really?

The truth is, art is a product of our imaginations. Creative expression is the process of decoding the unseen world around us. Each and every one of us holds the key to unlocking this power. Sometimes we might come to common conclusions, and other times we will shine with unique brilliance. Your creativity is a precious gift. You’ll never understand it until you start to unwrap the layers, decipher the code, imagine the unimaginable…

As a Creativity Coach this is where I have found my way of making a difference in the world. Even if you have never picked up a paintbrush before, I can show you how to ACCESS your unique creative power. Vitalize your creative life by nurturing your imaginative thoughts. It will change your life. I imagine great things for you!
